AWARDS
Each group will be awarded gold, silver, and bronze accolades.
Gold Award (85-100): The recipient will be presented with the International Liszt Ferenc Competition Trophy and a Certificate of Participation.
Silver Award (80-84): The recipient will be presented with the International Liszt Ferenc Competition Trophy and a Certificate of Participation.
Bronze Award (75-79): The recipient will be presented with the International Liszt Ferenc Competition Trophy and a Certificate of Participation.
The champion of the competition is chosen from the nominees for "The Best Performance Award" and will be awarded the "Liszt Grand Award" along with a RM 3000 scholarship*. (*Terms and conditions apply: Non-transferable and not exchangeable for cash.)
The recipients of the "Liszt 1st Runner Up" and "Liszt 2nd Runner Up" award are chosen from the nominees of "The Best Performance Award" and will each be granted scholarships of RM 2000* and RM 1000* respectively.
"The Best Performance Award" will be selected from all performances in the Preliminary Round and awarded to exceptional performers with a cash prize of RM 500 each (only applicable to participants performing live at Dominus Arts Venue, Kuala Lumpur).
The teacher of the recipient of "The Best Performance Award" will be honored with the "Certificate of Distinguished Teacher".
Music schools/Teachers with 10 or more eligible participants in the competition will be bestowed the "Certificate of Distinguished Music Organization" by the Open Competition Committee of the International Liszt Ferenc Competition.
A "Certificate of Participation" for the live performance at Dominus Arts Venue, Kuala Lumpur, will be presented to all participants during the Award Ceremony.
Contestants (whether live on-stage or through online submission) who score 80 and above qualify to enter the Global final round, to be held in Budapest, Hungary in July 2024.
All participants will receive their comment sheets at the conclusion of the award ceremony.
The RM scholarship is intended to subsidize masterclasses in Budapest, Hungary. The amounts RM 3000, RM 2000, and RM 1000 are not provided in cash.
